Why is tempered glass safe?

Tempered glass is a kind of prestressed glass. To improve the strength of glass, chemical or physical methods are generally used to form compressive stress on the surface of the glass. There are several ways to identify real tempered glass:

1. The surface of tempered glass is not as smooth and reflective as ordinary glass. This is because the surface of tempered glass is rough and bumpy.

2. The hardness and strength of tempered glass are higher than those of ordinary glass.

3. Check the production date and technical conditions of the product, the company name, and the logo number. If they are all available, it is produced by a regular company and the safety is reliable.

In my country, the material introducing U-shaped glass appeared in the late 1970s. Because glass manufacturers and relevant construction departments are very unfamiliar with this type of glass, this new type of architectural glass has not been developed, let alone promoted and applied.
