U-shaped glass curtain wall selection requirements

The selection of shading methods is not only a necessary method for the energy-saving design of U-shaped glass curtain walls, but also a necessary method for the construction and design of high-standard U-shaped glass curtain walls.

The glass used for U-shaped glass curtain walls should be safety glass, including tempered glass, laminated glass, hollow glass, fireproof glass, sunscreen coated glass and low-emissivity coated glass. The specific selection requirements are as follows:

1. The curtain wall should use safety glass, the glass thickness should not be less than 6mm, and the thickness of the rib glass in the full U-shaped glass curtain wall should not be less than 12 mm.

2. When selecting heat-reflective coated glass for U-shaped glass curtain walls, vacuum magnetron cathode sputtering coated glass or online thermal spray coated glass should be selected. The appearance quality and technical indicators of float glass used for heat-reflective coated glass should comply with the provisions of the current national standard "float glass" (GB 11614) for superior or first-class products.

3. The curtain wall hollow glass should be sealed with two layers.
