Design of U-shaped glass
U-shaped glass, also known as groove glass, has the characteristics of high light transmittance, thermal insulation, and good thermal insulation performance because of its "U"-shaped cross section. It is easy to use in construction, beautiful in appearance, and saves materials. It has been widely used in the construction industry.
In construction, U-shaped glass is often used for non-load-bearing exterior walls, interior walls, partitions, and even lighting roofs and canopies. Due to the transmittance and non-transparency of non-luminous U-shaped glass, while maintaining indoor privacy, it can produce a soft light diffusion effect, making the indoor illumination more uniform and avoiding the discomfort caused by direct sunlight; at night, indoor lighting makes the building a soft luminous body.
The special cross-sectional shape and proportion of U-shaped glass form a special striped texture on the appearance, and different surface treatments and colors form different hazy light transmission effects.
1. There are many treatment methods for the surface of U-shaped glass, such as ordinary fine grain patterns, transparent patterns, colors, etc.
2. U-shaped glass is a non-combustible material. If there are special requirements, it can be designed and marked according to relevant specifications, and the fire protection level can be ensured.
3. For the installation method of U-shaped glass, see the installation combination method. It is usually used to install double-row wings in pairs at the joints, or to install single-row wings inward or outward.
