Both types of glass belong to decorative building materials, but they are essentially different.

The difference between glazed glass and painted glass. Friends who don't understand the difference can distinguish them through the following functions.

• Functional differences

1. Cheaper and easier to install than other materials such as bricks, stones, or wood.

2. Various colors and patterns (generally customized according to customer requirements), with a wide range of choices. In the curtain wall combination, it can contrast other glass or match colors.

3. Glazed glass can be installed on the supporting structure.

4. It has the characteristics of no absorption, and no penetration and is easy to clean.

5. The glaze is an inorganic color glaze of the same glass material, which does not fade or peel off, so the original color is consistent with the life of the building.

6. The colored glaze is easy to bear the non-rigid adhesive is used to block the arch shoulder back.

7. The glaze can absorb and reflect part of the solar heat energy, which has the effect of energy saving.

8. It can be processed by coating, interlayer, hollowing, and other composite processing to obtain special functions for other purposes.

9. After tempering, the resulting product has good mechanical properties, impact resistance thermal shock resistance, and higher safety properties.

• Other differences

Colored glaze: sprayed/painted/printed with inorganic glaze, and then baked at a high temperature of 620-720, and melted into one with the glass body.

Baking paint: sprayed/painted/printed with organic polymer mixed with organic/inorganic pigments, and then baked at 100-150 degrees Celsius for fixation.

The composition of the glaze of colored glaze glass is almost the same as that of the glass itself. After completion, it becomes one with the glass and has the same service life as the glass itself.

Baking paint glass material is fundamentally different from glass, and is only physically attached to the surface of the glass.
