Analysis of requirements and specifications of building curtain wall glass

• Point glass curtain wall size and specifications
The central main facade point glass wall is about 1200m2. Except for the bottom row of 1212A8 tempered insulating glass, the rest of the curtain wall facade uses 1012A10 tempered insulating glass. The design is based on the basic wind pressure standard value of 0.40kN/m2, the steel structure limit temperature difference value of 41℃, the glass limit temperature difference value of 80℃, the seismic fortification of six degrees, and the fire resistance level of one. The steel structure coating uses the base sandblasting Sa2.5 level, the anti-corrosion coating uses Sz-1G inorganic galvanized coating, the thickness is 100μm, and the anti-corrosion period is 20 years; Steel pipes, galvanized steel channels, and steel bars are made of Q235; stainless steel pull rods, steel claws (X-shaped), and fasteners should be made of materials that comply with the national standard GB1220; weather-resistant sealants and structural silicones use American Dow Corning DC793 and DC995; other material quality must comply with relevant specifications and standards.

If it is a floor-to-ceiling glass curtain wall, the glass curtain wall engineering technical specifications stipulate that the glass thickness must not be less than 10mm, and must be tempered glass (a corner of the glass must have 3C certification!), 10mm tempered glass must not be greater than 3m, 12m m tempered glass shall not be greater than 4m, 15mm tempered glass shall not be greater than 5m, because glass has its weight. When the thickness is inversely proportional to the height and is too large, the self-weight will cause the glass to bend and deform, which makes it easy to explode and affect the safety of use;

If it is hollow glass, the general specifications of hollow glass are: 69A6, 612A6, 812A8, etc., because the technical specifications of the glass curtain wall engineering stipulate that the thickness of a single piece of glass in the glass curtain wall shall not be less than 6mm, such as If hollow glass is used, the thickness of the hollow layer shall not be less than 9mm, then the size of the hollow glass is: 6mm9A6mm;
3. When installing the glass, it is necessary to pay attention to avoid scratches and collisions. When installing large pieces of glass, manual suction cups must be used to ensure that the glass plate is less damaged during the construction process, because the tempered glass will be broken into pieces after collision;

• Requirements for curtain wall glass
1. The glass curtain wall should use curtain wall glass with a reflectance ratio not greater than 0.30. For glass curtain walls with lighting function requirements, the lighting reduction coefficient should not be less than 0.20.
2. The panel glass of the point-supported glass curtain wall should use tempered glass.
3. Safety glass should be used for frame-supported glass curtain walls.
4. For point-supported glass curtain walls supported by glass ribs, the glass ribs should use tempered protruding glass.
5. Safety glass should be used for glass curtain walls in public places with a high density of personnel flow, activities of teenagers or young children, and places that are easily impacted during use; obvious warning signs should be set for parts that are easily impacted during use.
