Manufacturing process of sandblasted glass

Sandblasted glass is a kind of work that uses compressed air as power to push abrasives to the surface of the workpiece for processing. It is called shot peening, which is what we often call shot peening. Since sand was an abrasive that could be used in the early days of shot peening technology, shot peening was always called sandblasted glass at that time and for a long time afterward.

The phenomenon of sandblasted glass (shot peening) is common. In nature, sand, gravel, and dust constantly impact mountains and slowly wear them away, but this process is quite slow and not easily noticed by us.

Among various surface pretreatment methods, sandblasted glass (shot peening) has a more thorough effect, stronger adaptability, and a wider range of applications. This is because: it cleans the steel surface faster and more thoroughly; as long as sandblasted glass can be judged by the established 4 acceptable cleaning levels; sandblasted glass can clean surfaces that are generally difficult to clean, and some special tools can be used to clean the inner surface of the pipe, and the cost of sandblasted glass is relatively low.

Sandblasted glass can make the surface to be cleaned obtain the required cleanliness and a certain degree of roughness, and improve the adhesion of the coating on the base surface. No matter how good the coating is, it cannot adhere well to the surface of the workpiece that has not been surface treated for a long time. The role of surface pretreatment is to clean the surface and generate the required roughness on the surface to "lock" the coating. After the surface of the workpiece treated with sandblasted glass is coated with a good-performance industrial coating, the coating life can be more than 3.5 times higher than the same quality coating on the surface treated by other methods. Another advantage of sandblasted glass (shot peening cleaning) is that the surface roughness can be determined in advance according to requirements and easily achieved during the cleaning process.
