In architecture, U-profile glass is often used for non-load-bearing exterior walls, interior walls, partitions, and even daylighting ceilings and canopies.
Thanks to the light-transmitting but non-transparent property of non-smooth U-profile glass, it ensures privacy while creating a soft light diffusion effect. This makes indoor illumination more uniform and avoids discomfort caused by direct sunlight. At night, indoor lights turn the building into a soft luminous body.

- Market Situation of U-Profile Glass
U-profile glass has been applied in numerous projects at home and abroad, including many aesthetically pleasing and uniquely designed classic buildings. Examples range from the Boxmeer Police Station (designed by Dutch architect Wiel Arets in 1995) to the Chile Pavilion at the 2010 Shanghai World Expo. In between, there are large-scale U-profile glass building complexes such as Qingdao Yizhong Tobacco Factory and Anshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., as well as the uniquely shaped Seoul National University in South Korea. These projects have fully demonstrated the advantages of this material in exterior walls and interior partitions of various types of buildings.
