The Principles To Be Followed When Tempering Special Glass Are Analyzed

In the production process of glass tempering furnace, the tempering parameters of raw glass are generally set by the engineer of the manufacturer of glass tempering furnace. When special-shaped glass needs to be toughened, it is necessary to set the tempering parameters of glass in accordance with the following criteria:

1. For glass with holes and grooves, the heating time of toughened glass is increased by 2.5%~5% compared with the same specifications.

2. Glass with sharp Angle, less than 30° Angle of glass than the general heating furnace heating time cut 2.5%~5%, should be put in the back of these processing, in order to prevent the heat absorption of the corner too fast, resulting in twists and turns.

4. About endothermic glass, heating time is generally less than 5% of the general glass.

5. Regarding coated glass and heat-reflecting glass, in order to maintain the coated surface, the coated surface should be upward. The bottom temperature and heating time is 2.5%~10% higher than that of the ordinary glass with the same thickness.

6. About glazed glass, it is necessary to dry before entering the furnace, the upper and lower temperature is generally set to about 700℃, if the glass is tortuous, to properly regulate the wind pressure, heating balance pressure can be reduced by about 50%, heating time and glaze color has a certain relationship.

On the tempering of special-shaped glass, after understanding the tempering parameter setting requirements, try to make a small amount of glass test tempering before mass production. Adjust the relevant tempering data according to the actual situation to ensure the tempering quality of this batch of special-shaped glass.
