U Glass System

U-shaped glass is a type of cast glass, formed in a fully computer-controlled melting furnace. 1. Frame-supported glass curtain walls are the most widely used in glass curtain wall projects, including two types: open frame and hidden frame. Safety glass should be used. Safety glass generally refers to tempered glass and laminated glass. Laminated glass is non-scattering glass, which can protect people's eyes, etc., and should be used first.
2. The panel glass of a point-supported glass curtain wall should be tempered glass and its products; otherwise, the strength will not meet the requirements due to the stress concentration at the punching part.
3. For point-supported glass curtain walls supported by glass ribs, the glass ribs should be tempered laminated glass. The ribbed glass belongs to the supporting structure, and the stress concentration at the punching part is obvious. The strength requirement is high. If the glass ribs are broken, the whole curtain wall will collapse.
4. In public places where teenagers or young children are active or areas with a high density of personnel flow, the glass curtain wall is easily squeezed and hit. For glass curtain walls that are easily hit, obvious warning signs should be set to avoid damage caused by accidental collisions. In other buildings, the parts of the curtain wall that may be hit by normal activities are also prone to glass damage. To ensure the safety of personnel, safety glass should be used for glass curtain walls in these cases.
5. When there is no solid wall on the outer edge of the floor adjacent to the glass curtain wall, anti-collision facilities should be installed.
There are certain requirements for the selection of glass in the glass curtain wall, and there are certain requirements for the curtain wall glass used in different locations. Not all types of glass can be used as curtain wall glass.
